Senior Scientist, MicroScan^TM

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the research team in microbial discovery, microfluidics development and manufacturing.
• Obtain in-depth knowledge of the micro-biotechnology targets of interest.
• Supervise, mentor and cross-train other scientists within the microbial development group.
• Troubleshoot and remove issues hindering the successful development of micro-biotechnology and microfluidics.
• Present project plans and ongoing progress regularly.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Ph.D. in microbiology and cell biology is preferred. Ph.D. in other related fields is also considered.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in relevant microbial research and microfluidics studies.
• Extensive microbiology knowledge and experience.
• Proven ability in project design and management, and capable of leading an R&D team independently.
• Ability to multitask and contribute in a challenging intellectual environment.
